The episodes
What is a NEPENTHE episode?
A house music experience at sunset, staged somewhere you would not expect: a rooftop, a cultural centre, a museum, a boat, a mountain. Every episode has its own setting, its own lineup and its own story.
The name comes from the Ancient Greek nēpenthēs, the medicine for sorrow in Homer’s Odyssey. The drug of forgetfulness.
When do episodes take place?
From the last hour of sun into the evening. Exact doors and music times are announced with each episode and printed on your ticket.
Where do they happen?
A different venue almost every time. Athens first, then wherever the story goes: Mykonos, Thessaloniki, Patras, Mount Parnassos, Cyprus and Amsterdam have all hosted an episode. The venue is always revealed to the list first.
How do I hear about the next episode first?
Join the list. Lineups, venues and tickets reach the list before anyone else. Join here.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Episodes are for guests aged 18 and over, and a valid ID may be requested at the entrance.
Is there a dress code?
Every episode has its own mood, so the dress code is announced with each episode.
Can I take photos and videos?
What if the weather turns?
Episodes take place come rain or shine. If conditions ever make it unsafe, we will tell you by email and on Instagram before doors.
Can I leave and come back?
Re-entry depends on the venue and is stated with each episode and on your ticket.
Tickets
Where can I buy tickets?
Only through the official link on nepenthe.events and on our Instagram, currently through our ticketing partner ComeTogether. Tickets bought from resellers or strangers cannot be verified at the door.
Do episodes sell out?
Most do, well in advance. Capacity is limited by design, so we recommend joining the list and booking as soon as tickets open.
How will I receive my ticket?
As an e-ticket by email, with a personal QR code. Show it on your phone at the entrance. A screenshot works too; turn the brightness up.
Can I share or resell my ticket?
Each QR code admits one person and is valid for a single scan, so keep it to yourselves. Tickets are personal and may not be resold.
Can I get a refund?
If an episode is cancelled, every ticket is refunded in full. Otherwise tickets are final.
I cannot find my ticket email.
Check your spam and promotions folders first. If it is not there, write to info@nepenthe.events with the name and email used for the order and we will help you retrieve it.
