Etymology
Nepenthe is a mythical substance described in Homer’s “Odyssey” as a drug that can bring forgetfulness and relief from suffering. In modern usage, the term “nepenthe” has come to be used metaphorically to refer to any kind of soothing or comforting experience which alleviates any sorrows.
Nepenthe /niˈpεnθi/ (Ancient Greek: νηπενθές, nēpenthés) means “removing grief” nē-, privative prefix + –penthēs, adjective derivative of pénthos: sorrow, grief”

NEPENTHE is a project that redefines electronic dance music experiences. Inspired by the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown and the dire need for forgetfulness, NEPENTHE officially launched in September 2022.
Each event, called an episode, combines pulsating house music with captivating sunsets on hotel rooftops. Featuring international and local guest acts alongside resident DJs, our curated episodes create a diverse and electrifying atmosphere.
Fusing music with art, fashion, and mixology, Nepenthe offers a multi-sensory feast, blending stunning installations, avant-garde fashion, and expertly crafted mixology creations.

BRB and BYRON, the resident DJs at Nepenthe Project, offer a unique fusion of house music. Byron effortlessly glides between grooves, while BRB weaves captivating melodies. Together, they create music sets that flow between grooves and melodies, delivering punchy beats and euphoric sounds. They have collaborated with renowned international and local artists, enriching their musical repertoire and pushing the boundaries of creativity. Their passion for electronic dance music has taken them to some of Greece’s most prestigious venues, where they have graced the stage as esteemed guests, leaving the crowd in awe.
